Dogs are no doubt one of the cutest animals in the world. They are not just cute but also great companions to have by your side.
Naturally, they all have the uncanny ability to bring laughter and joy to our hearts and they do not stop supplying every dog parent with some comedy gold.
Cats on the other hand are cute and cuddly and unique in their wit and behaviors. They can also be super sweet and funny when they choose to be.
Now imagine what level of fun it will be if dogs and cars do coexist in the same space; it will absolutely be a whooping hundred! As much as these two animals can be best of friends, some of their friendships can be strange and sometimes absolutely hilarious.
And when we saw this video of two dogs terrified of climbing down the stairs because of a cat’s presence we weren’t just surprised but also amazed by the dynamics of their behaviors.
In the video, Sage and Terry hesitated at the top of the stairs staring down at the (gangster) cat.
When their owner gave them a command to come downstairs, Terry first tried the first stairs, paused for a while to think things through, decided he couldn’t take another step, and returned to his original position.
Sage then tried as well, took a pause at the same spot as Terry did and just like Terry she aborted the mission.
Almost running out of patience, the owner insisted that they both come down because they shouldn’t be scared of a cat. Well, those words aren’t going to make them do what they wouldn’t do, these two German shepherd stood their ground.
Their owner kept urging them on, and the cat seemed to be unbothered about the situation. As if arguing about who was going to go first, Terry and Sage began to bark at each other and it was super funny.
With loud barks which must have disturbed the cat, he casually got on his paws and the cat walked down the stairs. Now that the cat was out of the way, their owner told Terry to get down, and this time he did, and then Sage followed after she was called to.
We don’t really understand why these dogs refuse to use the stairs with the cat gracefully resting there, but it does look like they were scared!
Pets have secret lives and we sometimes wish we could catch a full glimpse of their lives, maybe would know why these big dogs are afraid of the cat.
