Dog lovers everywhere can attest to the fact that every day with their mutt is amusing and amazing. But have you had the chance to see a dog “cry” while watching a sad scene from a popular movie? Alright then gather around, as that is precisely what we want you to see.
A TikTok account named Zoe Ansary posted a sensational video of a dog intensely watching one of our favorite cartoons from way back. In the video, you will convincingly agree that this sensitive dog understands exactly what is happening on the screen.
But does it mean that dogs in general are emotionally intelligent enough to understand what happens in movies? Well, we can’t really tell but maybe the video clip of this amazing dog will answer the question. Take a look.
The majority of us loved and still love the movie “Lion King”. And the scene where Mufasa died trying to save his son from the deadly hyenas moved us all to tears. Apparently, the emotions we felt while watching this masterpiece aren’t different from what this dog feels.
From the beginning of the video, the dog watches the TV screen intently, he tilts his head in different directions to get a good glance at what is playing on screen.
As the video progresses, the heart-wrenching scene of Mufasa lying lifeless on the floor and Simba attempting to wake his father up appears on the screen. This of course causes an uproar from the doggy as he also appears sad and dismayed about the tragic turn of events. As Simba began to cry, this intuitive and empathetic dog joined in.
This video clip is so touching and it makes us understand better why dogs are man’s best friend; they also feel what we feel. Indeed dogs are the cutest!
