Cats will always have a special place in our hearts. While they are known for their natural charm and mysterious qualities, they can be charming as well.
These clever pets are very independent and loved for their uniqueness, agility, and a touch of sass. But what happens when their intelligence and witty antics are harnessed into something that’s for the greater good of others except their “hoomans”?
Well, this TikTok video shared by FunnyFurryFriends, gives us an idea of what to expect from our feline friends. And trust us when we say you’d be in surprised when you see how clever this cat is. Take a look.
In the video, this clever cat is seen trying to help her housemates open the door to a room. One of the doors seemed to have been struggling to get the door open but wasn’t persistent enough to keep on trying.
And there is the cat taking over from where the dog has failed. Although every attempt proved fruitless, this adamant cat was determined to be the four-legged hero of the household.
Standing on his two back legs and using his paws to press the door knob down he keeps jumping high enough to get to the doorknob.
During his multiple trials, one of the dogs seemed to want to give it a try too, but this cat had a different idea and he wasn’t letting anyone get in his way. And of course, he did in fact open the door and it turned out to be a room where all their toys were kept.
Like a buffet, the dogs picked their choice and off they went, leaving the cat behind with no particular toy in mind to pick, until his mum found something pretty interesting for him to play with.
Watching this video is a reminder that we shouldn’t underestimate the intelligence of our cats and that when they set their mind to get something done, they get it done. Our feline friends will forever enrich our lives in ways we do not expect and we adore them.
