Cats are not the only curious animals, dogs too can also wear that crown. They love to explore their environment, investigate scents, and show interest in various stimuli, especially gossip.
Notwithstanding curiosity is a very normal dog behavior, and not only does it help them to learn faster, but it also improves their understanding of the world around them. On a lot of occasions, we have seen a lot of dogs display their curiosity in different situations and ways.
But what if their curiosity is mixed with a truckload of laziness and nonchalance, of course, you know the combination is out of this world. In a recent video posted on TikTok by Viki Jane Hunt, we see a clear representation of this behavioral pattern in a dog.
The unbothered dog, lay under the blanket, obviously unphased about his owner’s constant calls to make him leave the bed. She could hear her say “Gracie I’m going for a walk now so I’ll see you later, okay? Bye” and she honestly didn’t care.
Somehow she’s used to her owner’s antics to get her out of the bed and she is not going to let it work out this time. Seeing that that wasn’t going to get Gracie out of the bed, her owner kept saying “walkies” and “outside” and all of that didn’t seem to be interested in any of that.
But the minute her owner said, “Who’s there?!” Gracie’s head stood erect under the blanket. Sensing the curiousity in Gracie her owner repeatedly asked “Who’s there? Who’s she?!” And there you’d have it Gracie jumped out of her bed wanting to find out who was there.
Well too bad Gracie had fallen for her owner’s tricks yet again, but at least we all now know that finding a way to spike up dogs’ curiosity is a good way to utilize their weaknesses.
