Injured cat finds a forever home

In the world of some felines getting by life can be a bit of a struggle. Although a good number of cats have the pleasure of being in a home and under the care of humans, an overwhelming number of felines have to scramble and tussle for food and shelter every day of their lives.

It is pretty heartbreaking that as much as a lot of these adorable animals are being rescued on a daily basis, we can’t get all of them out of the street.

Stray cats have no hope for a cozy bed to curl up in, a warm meal to eat on demand, or the loving and gentle hands of a human to pet them. Every day for these felines is simply a struggle for survival, as the streets can be cold, harsh, and unforgiving to them.

Most of the time, the back story of these cats and how they found themselves in this homeless situation is unknown but we hope that one day they get rescued, get a forever home, and have a happy ending just like our good friends here whose story we are going to cover.

Challenges Of Finding Food With A Bad Leg

Corn is an adorable cat, even with her life struggles she maintains an easygoing, and approachable demeanor toward people. In her quiet suffering and uncertainties, this homeless cat still has profound compassion for humanity.

Every day she moves about with her bad leg in an unavoidable quest for food and sustenance. She must have seen other cats have it easy with finding food and she envies them as she has to scruffle even harder than a lot of them to get hers.

Maybe one day her struggles will end but before that day comes Corn knows she has to keep fighting for her survival. One thing is for sure she has an untold story of her survival in the street and this has urged so many helping hands to reach out to give her a new chance and a change of story.

Corn Gets Help At Last

On a faithful day, a concerned woman records corn while she struggles to search for food in a trash can. The woman noticed that she was struggling to get food and later realized that it was due to her badly injured paw. Corn kept on ‘meowing” as if it were a cry for help.

After the video was posted, a lot of compassionate people offered their helping hands to support the injured cat. After a series of searches to find her, Corn was finally found on the street.

She proves how amazing she is, as she responds to calls even without prior knowledge of the people, it is just as though she knows they were there to change her life for good and she surrenders to the love she was getting.

Corn was taken to the vet for a medical check-up and the doctor evaluated that she was 6 years of age.

She gets all the proper care that she needs while she awaits what’s next for her; will she be taken to a new home or is she going back to the struggles of the street? Corn will never really know.

New Home, New Life For Corn

After the vet to the vet, Corn gets adopted by her new mom. She was immediately taken to her new home where she met her her loving and welcoming family. She starts enjoying treats and food that she never got the chance to eat when she was homeless.

Corn looks so happy and content in the comfort of her new home. Here she got to meet a new friend who was so curious about her as they both glanced at each other through a glass door. After a long time of staring at each other, Corn finally gets acquainted with Jelly her new brother.

Corn could now rest peacefully without worries about where to find her next meal, she didn’t have to be bothered about struggling to get food ever again. Despite the tough life Corn has lived all her life, she never shows any signs of aggression towards her sibling when he takes her food, she is hardly ever angry about it.

A tight bond is formed between Corn and her four-legged brother Jelly as they always find time to whisper to each other and possibly gossip about their mum (just an assumption though). But we guess, Jelly is just trying to fill Corn in on things around the house.

However, as time goes on, Corn still tries to get used to a few teases from her mum, and it is quite understandable due to the fact that she isn’t so exposed to lots of human interactions.

This super adorable cat totally deserves a happy ending and we are happy that love found her and that she’s getting all the care that she needs.
