They have long bodies and short legs which allow them to dig into badger dens to reach their prey. Dachshunds are stubborn and hard to train. It is advised not to overfeed them or feed them with fatty foods.

Regular exercise is advised to keep them healthy and strong so they don’t put on extra weight.
